Task: To carry out restoration to the exterior period facade of a Victorian building in Notting Hill, repurposed to prestigious offices. The restoration included replacing/ repointing damaged brickwork, painting to the rear elevations, and reconfiguration of existing guttering & down pipe system.
Issues: Due to damaged brickwork and pointing, there were issues with water ingress in some of the office spaces. The rear exterior appearance was tired and damaged, and due to a new roof extension, the rain water system needed to be reconfigured. Powered Access & Scaffolding was considered too disruptive, too expensive and not suitable.
Solution: Steel Peaks technicians successfully carried out the work scopes from the roof of the building, rigging from our dead weight systems, which insured no damage was caused to the structure of the building.
